Why dont you bring your lil C5 over and see if it hits 530 on our dyno... I have a feeling it might hurt your feelings

Find a hobby
It won't hit 530. It'll hit about 560.

My dyno numbers were done on a factory-calibrated 248 Dynojet, not a flashed and reflashed and reflashed 224

I have nothing against you or anyone else on this site. You simply aren't going to make 383ci low-end torque with a 346 and a 240/244 cam.

Kudos

^^^ Funny because I made 385 lbs-ft @ 3500rpm's on my 346CI engine with a 232/236 cam, wasnt on a dynojet either.

How is that funny? Obviously you missed the point

385 lbs-ft with a 232/236 and a 346ci is normal.

There are a number of big cams out there that are making big power down low. Many of these werent done at Vengeance too.

We're talking about 440-450 lbs-ft with a 346, not 385 lbs-ft.

You're still missing the point.

Then just say what your point is, lol. 440ft-lbs I would think is possible on a 346. If i could make 414 on my setup then 440 is well within reach.

Thats the problem, you are spending so much time behind your keyboard you have gotten left behind the times... there are TONS of cars out there making 440rwtq with heads/cam....Dont worry though, you are still superior with your stroker motor

The vengence 346's ARE making as much rwtq as a 383 LS1 of about 3 years back.

Of course the new technology aapplied to the 383 will result in even more rwtq...

When the track MPH = the dyno numbers, then you're doing ****.

As for me. Say what you want. This car already went 131 on motor.

So, you are denying the fact that you reflashed it?

I dont see Karest with that small of a cam making that much power out of a 408. Its all in the set-up but there are 408s with perfect combos making that power with much larger cams, and aftermarket heads.

Ron, you mentioned you couldnt go all out on this combo, what is different from this car to any of the others that hit or went over the 500 mark?
