yours isnt that 403 that there was a vid of makin like 600HP was it??
I can't figure out why he spec'd almost the same cam for me but completely different. I am thinking that your cam would work better for me than my current cam. He spec'd it at 244/248 .612/.615 111 (-2) on a 113ICL. I have since advanced it 5 degrees but I wish that it was on a higher LSA with the advance ground in. Would have less overlap and better diveability and perhaps make more powa also .

I am going to PM you regarding the cam.....lets not steal Camaro Kid's thunder by sidetracking the thread.

And btw, great results by the "Kid"....LOL

Certainly as good as anyone could have realistically hoped for.

Looking foward to some track results

Cheers,
Tony

PS....Hurry up with those 403 results Roy....not to mention your SOTP and driving impressions which are just as important. PM me a status of the project when you have some time.

thanks mike c. im hopin for good things in the drag depatrment. my cars gonna be close to 3700LBS but im guessin unlike you i have a stick so if it goes 11.2-.3 ill be happy. and this TQ should help me get out of the hole which has always been my biggest problem at the track. my best 60 was back all stock on a 150 shot 1.74 the H/C was not a TQ producer so 60s were not its strong part. check my sig vid you will see a 6500PRM clutch DROP and it bogged to 2500 not cool and i know that wont happen again...... cause ill prolly only be able to lanuch at 4500 now before the tires go up LOL

I am only making slightly more power than you and probably a little less torque. I keep spending money on suspension stuff and even on 26x10 slicks, heated to goo, I can't "dump the clutch" over 3000 without blowing the tires off. I'll tell ya that an auto is starting to look good to me. I seem to get consistant high to mid 1.7's but that wont get me into the 10's on motor. I did cut a 1.68 last friday night but I missed 4th .

Good luck man!

Great results. My long term goal is to also slap my little AFR's on a 402. I just love the retarded low end.

CAMAROKID- I also have a stick shift car(M6). i did a 1.42 60 on motor w/a 26'' tire. I luanched at 6,500rpm's and i hook like a bitch. My new 402 should be way faster and i can't waite. Goodluck to ya bro.
98Z28COBRAKILLER- if your talking about making slightly more power then me. i was on a mustang dyno. from a dynojet to the stang dyno i lost 30hp in a back to back test. 463hp 414tq was the stang dyno lower #'s i got.
i could'nt hook either on m/t slicks or hoosier. i went to the M&H RACEMASTER 26X11.5X15 AND THEY HOOK way better for me then the rest. if you guys want to know my suspenchion set up,let me know.

I wanted to ask, did you touch the heads at all other than milling? I was just wondering if anything was messaged to try to match the 4" bore a little better, or if you just slapped em' on.

10's should be no problem for you.
