I'm sure who ever bought those 2 cars thought they had factory freaks.

Josh post up the dyno graph for the damn car. Whenever he posts it up, you'll see his numbers peak right where the stock LS1 cams do. If it had an LS6 cam it would have peaked later. I can't remember the exact RPM's that each cam peaks at right now though.

I've seen bolt on a4 cars run 114 in the 1/4 but with big converters, but never a stock one. I went 12.61 @ 111 with the stock converter and full bolt ons on a drag radial, but nowhere near those dyno numbers. The times are definately possible with really good track conditions but the dyno numbers seem a little high to me.

114 seems high for the dyno #s, isn't trap supposed to be related to HP...just my $0.02, not saying it didn't happen.

I am on Her laptop right now but I'll post up the dyno sheet as soon as I get a chance. One big factor on the car trapping 114 on motor was that it was about 40 degrees that evening at the track. If my memory serves me right the 60' was a 1.7X not too bad for street tires but probably would have been in the 1.6 range with some DR's.

The best MPH on the bottle was 95 in the 1/8th, we haven't ran it in the 1/4 yet with the go go juice. I would guess 120-121, somewhere in there, Mabye faster.

As far as it having a LS-6 cam in it..... ALOT of locals thought the same thing after it ran the numbers that it did. To be honest I kinda thought the same thing but I looked over the front cover and it was unmolested. Then when we dyno'd it that confirmed that it was the stock cam.

Ok, guys, After digging up the old timeslip I see that I was mistaken. The car did not trap 114 it was 113.59. And it was not on a 1.7 60' it was a 1.90. My mistake, my memory is about as long as my peter.

That really is crazy, my best MPH (given I've only ran the car down the 1/4 like 5 times) was 112.87 and I have 400 RWHP.

That is still practically 114, I am all butt hurt now because my H/C car traps 111-114 with a 3200 stall and street tires the short time was 1.95. I could not get in it until it shifted to 2nd gear though...maybe with more practice I could drive as well as your girlfriend

I would have been astounded if my car trapped anywhere near that kind of MPH
on LT's and lid!!!! lol I think i would tell everyone I know and watch them look at me funny.

Anyways- great numbers and unbelievable MPH! You've got a ringer.

I have seen a few bolt-on a4s in the 113+mph range in good air of course. Plus, looser converter will make you lose mph. So if you're worried about mph, stay with a tighter converter. Some cammed a4s may trap the same as bolt-on ones but their et is no match for a stalled, cammed ls1.

I put down my dyno #'s (in sig.) the same day as Baked, and I can truly say I was blown away by the numbers his GF's car made. He isnt lying or stretching the truth about anything! The car peaked horsepower at somewhere between 5300 and 5500. There is no way it has an aftermarket cam, or even an LS6 cam! I was also present when the car ran 12.56 @ 113.5 mph at Mountain Park Dragway in Clay City, KY. It was more like 30* outside...it was damn cold. But their car was FOOKIN' FLYIN all motor, definitely no nitrous on the car then. The car was on street tires, has Hedman 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" long tubes, an SLP airlid, and a cutout. That's it! The car really is a factory freak! Like Baked said, the car went 7.39 @ 93mph in the 1/8th on the spray. That is easily an 11 second pass in the 1/4 on bottle with a factory stall and minimal boltons.

i think it's possible, but would take a good setup on an already strong car.

my highest trap was 111 with lid, headers, udp, ls6 intake, and tune...stock untouched tb and no tricks...a 4k stall and 373s, 3,600lb raceweight - this was done in central indiana @ 2,500' DA (~75*) with just a "little" humidity and a nasty RL bump (5-7 times) on the 2-3 shift.

however, i had no factory freak - in BONE STOCK trim at the same track the car went 14.1 @ 101.

Neither do I!

Bolt on full weight stock converter A4 traps 114? I don't know, that'd be one HELL of a freak.

Pretty much. I may only trap 113 (it would be higher now, maybe 115, not risking my second rear end at this time) but I get there pretty quick.

If it trapped 114 all motor and ran 7.39 in the 1/8 on the bottle 11s will not be a problem, street tires and all.

My friend Mark's car, a lot of people called BS... but it's the real deal. My own personal car went 112.54 MPH w/ bolt ons, stall, full weight.
