I see its an old thread. Anyways, that setup is almost the same as mine minus the AFR's. Thats pretty cool. I'm just typing my thoughts right now. I have 1 7/8" headers, 25% UD, YT roller rockers on top of his list. Some of those 205cc heads would put me a lil higher than him. I'm stuck between those heads and some milled 225cc.

i really really think my 35 spline detroited 9IN was holding back some major ponies. i also think i need more free flowing exhaust. last summer we pulled the cutouts and gained 2mph in 100+ heat 130+ IATs. i never got a good run in but i pulled the y-pipe and ran open headers WOW want a beast it was like a new car. with exhasut on it would mabye spin on the 2nd gear roll ons with some bald 275-50-15 mt et DRs open headers 3rd gear roll ons ment tire smoke and balck marks. i need to get that new 85 maf and lid combo and im gonna get some edelbrock steppet headers and do make my own 3.5in to 4in Y pipe dumped at the axle. i also wanna try and switch to a 12 bolt with 31 splines to try and drop some weight. im hopin that bumps me to that 520 range.

I will be running a simular set up on a 383. 242/248 on a 110+?, I got it used. I don't know if it has 0 or +2 or what. With AFR 205's and a small shot 100 to 250. But it will be carbrated. Interesting to see what I end up with.
