i have a 98 as well and i have all the bolt ons -ewp and i will have a ud pulley i have teh edelbrock stepped headers 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 with a 3.5" collector i have a ls7 clutch and a 9" rear im expecting 340rwhp but thoes headders will shine with some spray.

This is the first time that I've heard of any LS1 F-bodies having different heads?

Taking the engine out and dyno it. Is the only real way to find out Engine HP. Everything else is hear say.

Yes There are many different factory heads. Some heads from different casting factorys dyno higher too.
