Nothing to be ashamed of. Grab yourself a tune and perhaps you'll see 33xrwhp or better.

Nice numbers though!

You also need a crank pulley, LS6 intake, good tuning. Their dyno numbers may also be on the low side.

Those are some pretty big headers on a stock car. Are you planning to run a 402 or something? I think thats costing you some, as well as no ls6 intake.

I was wondering the same thing. Those are very large headers, expecially for a stock displacement bolton motor.

Like stated above... grab an LS6 Intake Manifold/ ASP Pulley/ and Tune and I'd say you'd be very happy!

LS6 intake, electric water pump, descreened maf and under drive pulley, that should get you close.

Thats very good for a 1998 car.A swap to 01+ heads would give 15-20rwhp to give you an idea how you hold up to newer cars.

Yeah, kinda surprised you are running that header on a pretty much stock car.

Who cares about engine hp, you arent putting that to the ground. No way that you are making 400+ at the motor anyway. There is not that much loss in the drivetrain.

I care about engine horsepower. It is really the most accurate way to tell how much horsepower you have especially with all these chassis dyno numbers be inflated!

You could probably sell those on here for twice what you paid for 'em. Then turn around and buy some 1 3/4" headers that are more suited to your setup.

Like everyone else said, LS6 intake and pulley are a must too.

I know what your saying, but I have $600 in labor into these headers (fitment issues... had to lift motor)
I COULD take em out and put in something smaller, but I'd still have a net loss.
Plus my funds are down to the last couple hundred bucks, and now I need to get a lawyer... (Never let your friend's talk you into being the get away driver for some stupid prank)

Think if I replace the resonator for like a flow master, or something REALLY restrictive, it might help me out with back pressure?
