Default Is this dyno low or what???

Well I dynoe'd today.. on a dynojet. I was really dissapointed.

318.9rwhp
301.4tq.

in 2005 just headers,2400 stall,cai.
258.9rwhp
292 tq.

so only 60hp gain and 9 lbs. of tq...

WTF????

I do have a fuddle 3800 stall in it. Im not sure if it is locking up or not..

a/f was around 13.0 flat all across the board.

the blue lines on the graph are today's.
the red lines are from 2005.

does the graph look okay?
I do have a pretty big cam, as you can see it was still climbing when the dyno guy stopped...
but Im not impressed with the numbers, the car pulls like a raped ape.. does not miss. runs very strong. so Im hoping the stall is sucking around 50hp. from the dyno?

please let me know what you think...

heads are full p&p, 1.6 rr's. flow around 270/190 I think, I have to find the sheet.

looks low to me... whats compression are you running? Low compression on the cc306 will turn that motor into a dog.

Actually, now that I look at it, your original dyno was a little low as well. I have seen several bolton / stock tuned cars put down 280 rwhp. Mine put down 279 on stock tuning and full boltons. So with a base dyno that's down 20rwhp, expect your final dyno to be 20rwhp down as well.

10.5 compression...

the a/f. was 13.0 all across the board...

I think my stall is eating alot of power...

well finally made it to the track... best run was a..

rt... .026
60ft.. 1.7
330.. 5.315
1/8.. 8.229
mph.. 84.09
1000ft.. 10.752
1/4.. 12.868
mph.. 106.26

I did gain 22mph from the 1/8th. to the 1/4..
so Im not sure it is my stall..

my buddies 93 firehawk LE2 setup ran a best of 12.2 at 110mph. lastnight, so he had me by .8 and 4mph...

he also has a yank ss4000.

only real diff. I know is he has a professional dynotune by ed wright, and I had my car tuned at a guys house for free, and he was kinda new at it...

so maybe it's my tune...

heads and no cam? gah maybeim too new to it.. but dont they uslaly do cam before heads?

Dont let the numbers get to ya.. as long as you have a hella fun time drivign it..

nice 60' times.. stock rear? street tires?

Post some pics of the car.. looks real badass

I have the cc306 cam. p&p stock heads. 1.6rr's. mt et streets on 18psi.
stock rearend 373's. Im pretty sure I need a good dynotune.. I'll try to get some pics up.

A tune can wake a car up, you're 60' is great for your time, amazing actually. It looks like your top end is suffering and the stall may have something to do with that as its more of a benefit in the 1/8th than the quarter. Get her tuned properly and get back to us!

and 7.60 1/8 on motor
60' were consistant 1.60 on bone stock suspension and m/t d;r on stock wheels...your numbers are very low...you should be in the 11/30 range...lloyd just did it with le2 and a 3700 pound trans am...with a stock tranny

yea, has to be tune...I have cc305 (smaller cam) stock heads, and not even tuned yet, and I put down 304.something RWHP and 344.8 RWTQ, through 2000 stall

yeah but the problem is I have stage 2 heads, and cam. and many other mods, I should be very low 12's or high 11's. so something is def. up... I'll find out when I take it to Ed Wright...

Looks low to me. I had a 1993 TA with full bolt-ons I made 289 rwhp and with a supercharger cam (stock untouched heads) I made 323 rwhp and ran a 12.8 @ 106mph.

cc306, ported stock heads with stock valves even, I was trapping 106+ at 6000ft and my car is not dynotuned. My buddy just put down 359rwhp with a CC306 stock heads and 1.5 rockers of all things. Throw it on the dyno like I'm going to do when I get home on leave.
