1st run on dyno did 540 to the wheels. after tweaking the tune it put down 560. final results will be up in next week or so. ls7 intake will be ported and headers changed from stainless works to american racing headers this week, so we'll see if the hp gains are true or not. really wanted a chance to thank everyone involved. here's a couple of pics.

Badass. Those are some ridiculous numbers for an N/A car. I need one of those LS7s, haha. How about some exterior pics? Specs on the cam?

Did you make those numbers through that little cutout? If so, you're leaving lots of power on the table by not running a proper 4" y collector with a 4" cutout. That's amazing if you made that much power through a 3" single pipe.

it's a built motor, caps were old mba caps that i had chromed.
Was it one the G7X series cams
g7x5

yes but i believe that's why nick is going to switch to american racing headers. the merge collector is completely different then what is in those pics, although i do not know what size they are, i don't think they are 4" though.

i had them put nitrous rings in it, but it won't be a big shot if i do one at all.
it wouldn't hurt to have a small shot for 4th gear.
Let get some track time now
i'm not a trackoholic so it won't see a ton of track time.
final numbers with american racing headers and merge collector, ported ls7 should be up in a week or so.

thanks everyone,
rob

I wouldn't doubt a 30-40rwhp loss through that exhaust..

I think it would be a good idea to mess around with a new exhaust setup while you make the change with the headers and intake porting. Might help get you to where you want to be with the final product.
