A stock FAST 90 eases the restriction at the throttle body end of the manifold. Porting the FAST eases the restriction in the runners themselves.

Patrick,

Are you still running the X-grip Textralia? On the Yella Terra's, any thoughts/concerns on their stiffness and longevity with the valve springs you are running as they appear to be pretty stout springs.

Yes, I'm running the X-Grip Textralia. Since I've added the McCleod adjustable master cylinder, the shifts are silky smooth and fast. Love it! The Yella Terra rockers that I'm running are the all-new Ultra Lites. They are very light at the valve and are a great compliment to the 98 gram hollow-stem intake valves and AFR 8019 springs. The valvetrain should spin to 8000 rpm with no problem, but my rev limiter is set at 7200.

Love that idle patrick. Sounds kinda loud but I know the clip was taken only 3-4 ft away. When are we going to go get that fly by clip?

Thanks Kurt. If it would ever stop raining, we could get some gear jamming action.

Where do you think this setup would be number wise with an LS6 intake and ported stock TB?(around 480rwhp, 430rwtq)
Plus, how much would you lose with a descreened stock maf vs. a Speed density tune? Thanks.

With an LS6 intake, ported stock TB and descreened stock MAF, this would be 470-475rwhp. The ported FAST intake is worth 30 rwhp over the LS6 with ported TB and the small MAF would account for the rest of the loss.

Just read through the entire thread. Very nice Pat! It's more proof that careful matching of parts can get you very similar results as bigger, more expensive engines.

Just curious on your static compression. How much did you have to deck the block to get 11.9:1?

Nice results..I never knew that the weather station can affect the numbers so much. Next time I get my car dynoed I will be sure to keep an eye on the weather station, and be ready to blow if I have to.

Patrick, do you have any sound clips of your setup, cutout closed, and then open? I tried searching, & i'm getting tired of reading. Thanks.

Idle clip with cutout closed is in my signature. That's an SLP dual dual with B&B Triflow quad tips.
