Is this on a M6 car. If so. I would be a little disappointed, But they are not bad. If it is a Auto. then you should be all smiles.

the numbers look good to me. What people dont see is that your still on the stock 98 heads and we all know that you at least need the 241 stock heads to pull some nice numbers, second your not even all bolt-ons, you still need an LS6 intake, pulley, ported TB, and another little things. I would be smiling if I were you, they way I see it its only up in power once you start putting the other bolt-on's.

Doesnt take 241 heads to make power, that intake hes using just sucks. There is everything wrong with his numbers. That full exhaust/tune territory, not cam/exhaust. He needs ditch that damned intake, get a lid, a ported throttle body and at the very least put an LS6 intake on it and see where that takes him.

You can't half *** your setup and then expect to make stellar numbers. Just doesn't happen.

Damn, what a bunch of great responses here

Thats pretty good for the setup you have. That would be normal for that Cam on a 98 headed car at my dyno

well, kudos here. Atleast yours runs, i'm still having electrical issues somewehre, i believe with ym knock sensors, but all in all, for a 98, and yes, 241's would make a huge difference over our crap 806's, Good looking numbers for now. Port the TB, get a Pulley, and what exhaust do you have? Hope it's not a crapmaster

no i got a x pipe with dumps on it ,ya i was happy with my numbers i got all things considering and im sure they could have got more power out of it but since its a everyday driver i would rather have a smoother running car for now. Like i said earlier i plan on changin some things out and adding some more parts later on .But damn the car does run so much Smoother now its actually Fun to drive again .

Looks good to me. Mines an auto with the same cam and put out similar numbers on the dyno but I have the LS6 intake. I think you could benefit quite a bit from it. Also, the 98 heads are holding you and I back. See what she runs at the track now though and compare later after an intake swap.

back in the day with my 98 transam with stock heads, stock LS1 intake, slp lid and a 224/224 .563/.563-112 cam, with jet hot 1 3/4 headers i put down 384.82rwhp and 383.79rwtq thru a 6 speed and 3.73 gears n/a. dont plan on getting much more power than this out of the 98 heads cause i installed a 242/248 .610/.615-110 cam (t-rex clone) and a ls6 intake on the above combo and only picked up another 10th and 2mph at the track, never hit the dyno after the install, but had a lc1 in the car to tune after the install. get rid of the heads if you want to make more power or you will end up chasing mods and getting frustrated when they don't perform the way you want them too. 98 heads suck big time if your looking for over 400rwhp n/a.

That's my problem too, the damn heads!

Your numbers are pretty decent considering you have 4.10s as well...not too many people seemed to have noticed that in your sig.

My mods are in my sig, and I have a LS6 intake and a smaller TR224 on a 112. I also have a steel driveshaft, 4.10s, and a 2.5" Y pipe with cats.

This is with the same mods on the same day. The car was "tuned" by...well lets not mention any names.... 2 years ago after the cam was installed, came up with 375rwhp and 367 rwtq. Then, after adding a cutout and 4.10s, it produced the **** poor numbers in the first run. Mike Norris laid his hands on the car and we got her back to what you see in the graph.

Maybe next year I'll throw some heads on there!

ya i do have 4.10 gears so i know they eat some power up and i do have a aftermarket intake its the BBK ssi aluminum intake, should be close to or not exact as a ls6 in my book .I will try to hit the track friday and see what i can get out of it .Plus it was really hot that day and humid that may be very small factor .

not bad, just a PP tb and pulley and you will see some gains- maybe more tuning with those bolt-on once they go on. Ice that intake when your at the track. enjoy!
