Default 370, l92, l76 very low power????

I just recently had my 370 tuned and was very unhappy with what the numbers were.

L92 heads (flowed around .340)
L76 intake
42lbs injectors
P.T.M. 90mm throttle body
Hooker 1 7/8 header
TSP true duals
12:0:1 compression
Th400 rmvb
4400 Yank nitrous stall
Stock rear end and gears
325/50/15 mt et street radials

Im not to sure about the cam but i can get the info soon. The torque convertor is really loose and feels like it could be slipping, which could be a reason. I know that a TH400 and the tires are not helping me on power but it just dont run any better than my last 347. The car only made 414rwhp, what could be the cause of the low power? I have been told by several different people that the stall is way to loose and by going to a tight 3800 stall would gain most of my lost power back. I wont say who tuned the car but i feel as though there is alot left in it. The car still wont keep a decent idle, it surges like its out of fuel, and boges at higher rpms. I was shooting for around 450-460rwhp and was no were close, so if anyone has any ideas please chime in.

thanx

You arent likely going to put down any bigger numbers with a th400.... Dyno #'s dont mean much on some setups.

For example, on a heads/cam/346" I tuned, it put down 442 rwhp through a locked 4l60e... With no changes but a th350 swap, the car redynoed 396 rwhp with no other changes.

At the track the car picked up a couple mph and ran several tenths faster with the th350. Should I be disappointed with the #'s with the th350? Sure I guess if it means anything to you.

By the way: get a better tuner. A good tuner can make it run like a dream in 10 minutes at idle unless something is wrong (vacuum leak, electrical or something physically wrong)

If the car bogs at high rpms it likely IS running out of fuel. Get the car tuned by someone who knows what the hell they are doing then redyno. Until then your numbers mean nothing....It SHOULD dyno at least 450rwhp....

Dyno #s dont mean much but a 370 should be making right around 440-460rwhp even with my setup? I had a respectable sponsor on ls1tech do the tuning but wont say who did it, i just would like to know what everyone thinks a setup like mine should put down.
