No desire to run duals..I'll get what ever power I get from the ported FAST.If I only get 7-10..then that's what I get..I would do an electric water pump before I screw with the exhaust...It fits..It seems do flow well enough...I have a really good running car & I'm not in any hurry to mess that up..I guess I'm easier to impress in my "old age"..This car has been a long term project & has come a long way since that cold day in October 1998...I was always a little jealous of guys (George C) who could take a practically new car & do all the stuff that took me 8(!) years to do & they did it in 6 months of buying theirs. But I still have mine. His 98 is a shell behind Rollins Automotive & shadow of it's former self. Mine looks as good as the day I bought it
As far as spinning the motor to anywhere close to 7K..That's unnerving. for me to do to an Eagle bottom end ..I'll see what I get with 6500 & go from there...
Thanks.

I spin my Eagle bottom end to 7,000 with no ill effects. I shift around 6,800 like every one else here has said.

It wont hurt to spin 6900+ but if you go no quicker then why do it. the curve ended before then so we dont know if it drops off after 6500 or not. but the rule of thumb is 3-400 rpms above peak.mine peaks around 6300 and shift at 6700. I would just try 6500 and work your way up.

You are gonna have a blast with it.

Man, if I had your motor and you had a feather in your butt we'd both be tickled.
