Very good #'s. If you work on the suspension, that car will fly!! What are the specs on the cam?

This was a custom grind from a local shop. I dont have the full specs on it. I will refer this thread to the shop owner and he can post it if he wants to

Thanks everyone. This feels like a whole new car. Not sure when it will see the track, but id estimate mid 12's with this setup

I will refer this thread to the shop owner. I asked him for a cam that would net me at or above 400rwhp. I believe it is a custom grind, and to be quite honest, I dont know the full specs. Should he wanna post up the full specs, than thats cool. I dont think he'd care either way, but some people are very picky about posting to the world for free their hard earned R & D....

Thanks for the comments everyone!. I love this car

Anything smaller than the Trex, MS4, and similar cams is small on LS1tech Good numbers on the Mustang dyno there.

Its small as in it starts up and idles at stock rpm just fine after I did the idle tuning. I bumped it up a little bit just to keep the plugs cleaner, but its quite happy at 800 Im sure. We have ran a slight variation of this cam on stock retainers and 918 springs many times and they are clean thru 7000, so no crazy LSK hyd/solid roller wannabe solid stuff going on

Its pretty std .610-.620 lobe lift, no 108 LSA stuff, decent lobes that work. We dont chrge extra for "custom" cams because every cam we do is custom in part because we have yet to have the same exact cam ground for anyone

Bobby car definitely is making good power for what it is, I think this is the 5th one weve made over 400 with using that shmedium 228/230 size stuff, the same day we had a 11.3:1 PRC head/Magic Stick3 setup I tuned on the dyno, it made about 13 lbs less torque and 5 less hp. Same trans/rear/intake manifold on both cars back to back. My car only made a hp or 2 more and it traps 122 pretty easy, I think youll be surprised when you run it if you can launch it Bob!

We actually put one of our grinds thats a little larger by a couple degrees in another car, going from his old 224 cam he actually commented that the driveability was BETTER luggin it low in gear with new cam. Now that I dont know about, I can see it staying the same, but better is always good. I think his picked up 40 even, and 15 lbs of torque with cam and unported FAST as the changes, back to back
