Default 383 solid roller LT1 RHS heads and a supervic numbers inside.

Tuned on Ed Wrights Dyno....


First off let me say Ed and Jeaney(sp) Wright are some of THE nicest people you could ever meet. He worked VERY hard tuning my car. The car took a whipping on the dyno but held together. Thank you Mr Ed!!

Here is the sheet, numbers are SAE corrected through a 4L60E and a 9 inch rear and 325/50 drag radials on 91 pumpgas.

nice #'s and not too often you see a good LT1 #

and yes...Ed is an awesome guy

We just had a car on the dyno that we did a while back. The customer had done a few small things and wanted to see some updated #'s

383 w/ Brodix heads
12.1 comp
Hydraulic cam
LT4 intake w/58MM TB
Kooks stepped 1 3/4 to 7/8
3" TD'S
TH400 w/4200 stall ( non lock-up )
12 bolt with 3.73
26" Hoosier 17" DR's

The car actually needs valve springs and should make some more power.

468 rwhp
400 rwtq...I didn't mat it to keep from having a torque spike

Ed told me his dyno typically is 10-12 rwhp lower than a newer Dynojet. His dyno is kinda old. So I will dyno it down here and see if it will go 475 rwhp.

He also told me if I take that tank of a torque converter out and put a smaller one in it would dyno better...but I got what I got so.....


I am happy with it.

I would hope you are...it is a awesome setup

any track time planned ?

our customer has yet to get to a track with the car in over 1 year

Yes when it cools off and the DA comes down I will go, end of Nov or so.

U have a heavy car..
That might be hard at 3700lbs..

I have my customers car at 3500lbs and I hope to run 11.30's NA with it..
It has a 3200 Multi Disc N20 in it from PI so its not optimal for NA..
We're gonna hit it with a 150 Dry controlled by the FAST..

How big is the verter in your car?
Do u have a vacum pump?

The converter flashes to 4300, no vacuum pump. The car ran 11.25@120 first time out. Car weighs 3800 lbs with driver.


The car sounds like a Pavement latemodel, sounds really good.
