Default ls1 intake, full bolt-on t-rex car dyno-tune results...

I took my car in today to get tuned by Jeff at conleys performance plus. needless to say, I was very pleased with th results, as this is a brand new motor with only about 500 miles on it.

the first pull without tuning was 365whp.

second pull with some timing added in was 389whp.

final pull (that the clutch held heh) was 399whp.

the numbers were made on conleys mustang dyno, and after the third pull the clutch let go. time for an ls7!!

major props to jeff for getting me in today on such short notice! ill post up the graph later today.

Nice numbers.... Especially with the ls1 intake.... Throw a ported ls6 or even a FAST, if you have the dough, and see what it does....

That was a mustang dyno too?? Youre over the 400rwhp mark already....

Here's the dyno:

Mod List:
LS1 intake
Pacesetter headers
3" Dynomax bullets off of headers
SLP lid
Powerbond Pulley
T-Rex v.1 (242/248 .609 .617 109.5 LSA)
NGK TR55's
Stock internals with ARP rod bolts
241 casting heads (No port-work)

Can't wait to see what it can do with a ported FAST90/90 and an LS7 clutch...

no flycutting whatsoever was needed, and I'm using the stock (120k miles) rockers

Just for comparison, I did 391/374 with 9" and 4.56 with LS6 intake. I would like to see results with ported 90/90. Mine peaked at about 6300.

Good to see the cars running like it should.(except the clutch) Im guessing conleys fixed the problem you were having before you took it up there?

Yeah, the MAP sensor was halfway out of the intake manifold. Plugged it back in and it ran like normal.

All I can say is you can't be scared at 6890. Good numbers for sure, but wow.

nice stuff, that ls1 intake is hurting you a lot. I know it was hurting me just after some bolt ons. it will be nice to see numbers once you get a better intake on it

I'm hoping with an LS6 it'll pull into my desired range of 7200rpms or so...

Oh, and the motor is built to handle high rpms. Only thing limiting me is oiling heheh
