Default Cam/header LS7 results!
Just finished the tune today on a 2006 ZO6 that we installed a new CARTEK 2X-LS7 cam, KOOKS LT headers and VARARAM intake unit.

Here are the results;



Car has a nice idle at 725 rpms and turns on real hard at 3800 rpms!

With the LS3's pulling almost 500rwhp with just a cam i don't think it's "THAT" amazing.

Thanks Chuck .......

I guess you don't really look at the big picture..... first off approching 500 and making 556 is a huge margin. Second, look at the power "under the curve". The torque on this package is like a turbo car. Turns on quick and stays flat.

Besides the cam is very mild which again proves, bigger isn't always better.

The customer has no complaints!

Unfortunately since this cam is a "proto-type" and CARTEKS grind, I can't really spill the beans. I can tell you its not an aggressive profile as far as LS7 cams go. I was quite surprise at where we ended up despite its size. Once again........bigger isn't always better!
