LS7 - cam/headers/intake - 560 rwhp
Either way with 427 (428) cubic inches and such a mild cam by todays standards you made some impressive Rwhp and Rwtq !!
Do you have a graph ?? I'd like to see your stump pulling torque from 2800 rpms. With my h/c bolt on ls1 346 I had a whopping 360 rwtq at 2800 rpms. I'd expect you to be 400 rwtq or more. Wonder what she'd have made with one of those 24x/25x cams that some people are using. GREAT RESULTS !

RWTQ is somewhat a measure of the efficiency of the combo.
I wouldn't be happy with the RWTQ out of the LS7's until they are 520rwtq or so at the peak being more common...
are you the kinda guy that would have jessica alba crawling in your lap and say something like "could you please get up, i dont really like your hair like that" ?
It has a calloway air intake/MAF, 23x/23x camshaft (that idles barely more noticable than stock), kooks longtubes /w cat pipe, full hptuners tune.
Torque low? lol. Cause I need any *less* traction in 1st/2nd/3rd gear
Just pointing it out. When I say this differently you guys might understand...
A 382 stroker or 388 big bore can put out 480rwtq with the right cam timing and supporting parts (IE: fast90 ported)...
Is why I said that 485rwtq out of 427 cubic inches means that we are "missing some" and can be somewhere between the camtiming and tune. Maybe the ports are "too big", like the old cleveland heads on fords. Hopefully not, and a change of cam timing or tune, gets that RWTQ up to 510-530rwtq peak like you would think it would be.
Once we find it, there will be more rwhp that was hiding and will be released. So instead, you'll be saying - we got 615rwhp/530rwtq with every point on the curve greater than that of the 560rwhp/485rwtq.
Its likely the tuning/cam timing is based on the old tuning models for cathedral port heads and fast90 or stock ls6 style intakes, and hopefully there is "a fix" for it...
Is what I was saying. Not knocking it one bit..
