Default New TR230 numbers, interesting.

I got my car dynoed again today after I replaced the bad plugs that I dyoned it with last time. The car feels a lot faster with the new plugs (old ones were fouled) so I thought I would see a good increase. The dynoed 2 rwhp more! I do not have the old graph sorry. The car still has the 2.73s with a t56. I am getting my 4.10s installed this weekend. We dynoed the car in 3rd, 4th, 2nd and 1st for ***** and giggles. It looks like the car picked more horse in 1st from 5200+ to 6k than the other gears! I wonder if the 2.73s and the t56 don't like each other on the dyno? I also have stock 98 that were port matched (bad job?) to a FAST intake. I currently have a LS6.

Last time we dynoed the car, my tuner said I was running out of fuel up top. I have stock injectors, unknown year.
The car doesn't seem to make any good power after 5200 rpm.

Here are my mods,
TR230/224
Ls6 intake
SLP underdrive pulley
Hawks Long tubes
3 inch mandrel bent, ORY, into a single Flowmaster 40 series
Tr6s
Msd wires
CAI

Oh ya,
1st gear 69 mph
2nd 101 mph
3rd 114 mph
4th 176 mph!

I think that it could be losing power around 5500k because,

The port jobs sucks, need injectors, gear ratio is f'ning up the dyno reading.

I forgot to mentain that I am still running the stock TPI fuel pump. The stock TPI fuel pump runs a tpi motor at 42-46 gpm and supply fuel to around 5k. Now with the ls1, it set at about 59. Could the fuel pump not keep up with the motor at the higher rpms?

Tune is either off or starving for fuel. It actually gets richer from 5500 up which makes me suspect tune is off.

Bottom line is you need more fuel. I think you have another 20hp or better in it once you dial it in around 12.8-13.0:1

I know that it was a quick tune. It was tuned during the first dyno run a month or two ago.

I am getting my Holley fuel pump tomorrow and my 4.10s installed this week so I might get it dynoed again to eliminate those two.

A lil curious as to why you are running a colder plug...Esp. if you haven't bumped up the compression or running on the juice...

Because they are a proven performer N/a and on spray. The car will get spray over the winter as well.
