Default Dyno #'s lower with nitrous?

I made 374hp and 348ftlb n/a and 300hp with a 200hp shot of nitrous? Whats odd is that when i ran the car n/a, my Yank ss4000 would not lock up until 4500 rpm, So i am thinking there is something going with that.

Was the nitrous working? Post a graph...it seems more like it was locked for 374 and unlocked for the 300? Just can't tell though without being there.

The nitrous was working for sure. I will have to get the chart.

You sure you were not just spraying fuel.Ie the NOS solenoid did not work. Post a graph will yea.

I am sure we tested it before the dyno and it is very noticeable when the nitrous comes on. I am waiting for the dyno shop to email me the chart.

What do you guys think about the convertor not locking up until 4500 rpm?

on nitrous, it will go past the rated stall speed. it flashes the converter higher.

If your jetted correctly for a 200 shot, you should not be going down. Check the plugs, get the graph and pray your selinoids work. Id check the the oil too, it could be getting wash down.

When it flashed to 4500 that was on the N/A run.

If you feel the N2O kick in and the motor come alive I'd say you are blowing right through the convertor or the tranny is slipping....

That is what i am thinking. When the nitrous comes on the motor sounds great.

I contacted Yank and they want me to take it to the track to get some real world numbers. They want to know what the shift extensions are.
