[QUOTE=Rick@Synergy;8048145]Here is another L92 package we just did. The customer came in with a catback and an intake on his car to start. The car made pretty good power with those bolt ons stock. We added our L92 package we sell with the addition of an Underdrive pulley, intake and TB porting. Here is what we gained. Enjoy. And its not Flywheel.

Default Great Cam

I really agree that you've hit a good size cam for the L92 setup. My cam is a lot bigger. Your torque kicks in much earlier which is much more desirable for street driving.

I don't have any times but here is the last dyno. I just bought a used cam 230/236 112+4 XER that I will be trying soon. I will re-dyno with my timing issues fixed and cold weather soon and then swap cam and re-dyno.

Next time you grind a camshaft for your L92 setup, dont use the Xer lobe on the intake. There is a trick to this head.

So a large port and a large valve need less lift and slower ramp to keep velocity up or is that backwards due to larger valve creating shrouding?

Wow, You're right, I just downloaded the Comp Cams 2007 Lobe Catalog http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Ca...obeCatalog.pdf
Right there at the top of Page 18, it shows the separate intake Lobe #3728 and exhaust lobe #3734 that they used to make my "Custom camshaft" that Scoggin Dickey picked for me. Ironiclly I had picked a slightly smaller cam, but when the engine arrived the larger cam was installed. I ordered the engine in December 2006. A lot more is known about camshaft design for L92 now. I still wouldn't mind a slightly smaller cam than I currently have. I would love to build more power in the lower RPM's.

Rick those are great numbers number down low torque & all below 6100 rpm's. I think you are on to something for the correct cam for the L92 heads for sure. I have a 06 SS Trailblazer with LS2 engine & built L92 heads with all Manley stuff plus pocket ported bowls milled .025. What would you sell me a cam like that one used for? I have the L92 truck intake & 39 lb injectors. Did you have PV clearance issues? My heavy SSTB is running 12.12 @ 112.93 mph so I could run some deep 11's with that combo & a small shot of nitrous. Any chance on selling me a cam?

Rick I will be ordering this cam from you after the holidays. Will I get a cam spec card with it for future mod reference? I will be using a stock LS2 block with stage 2 L92 heads & L92 truck intake. I hope this cam likes nitrous it will be getting a small 2 stage shot. 100 hp & stage 2 -50 hp for a 150 hp total. I have a SSTB that run's 12.12 @ 112.93 to 114 mph. This looks like a good cam for me. Will stock length push rods work. My heads a milled .025?

Why? I have access to all the same stuff. I just want to see the truth which im pretty sure I already know. Theres not many cam lobes out there you know... I won't need him to tell me but I'd sure hope he wouldn't lie about something when called on it. I'll know what the specs are soon enough on that thing anyways. I'll be installing one soon

I respect the hard work that goes into the R&D...But to act like you're the only one doing something, thats simply not the case.

You can have the same duration numbers @ .050 but 7-10 degrees difference at .200 (where it really matters anyway) and the cam will be 10 times more aggressive and fill the cylinders much better.

I can tell you that you wont get much out of me. Rick will atleast give you a ball park. But research the stuff yourself, or try it and see what works, or find the tuner that you think has the best results and buy a cam from them. If you are a DIY guy not willing to buy a cam, then dont. Do it on your own. It irritates me when someone asks for specs so they can use someone else, free of charge, to get a leg up.

I know Rick isnt the only one doing the work, but its like asking for a free ride. At least spend the 400 or 500 bucks on the cam to find out what you thought it was all along

Im backing Rick because he does excellent work, has cars that drive well and is a great tuner. He knows his stuff, and I send all of my west coast customers to him because I know they are in great hands.

Dont take offense to this. Profit is not a dirty word, and someone like rick gets his paycheck and feeds his wife and kids by doing what he is doing now. Give the man a chance. He isnt getting rich doing this.
