cam numbers i discussed with roger vinci. with the 1.8 rockers, i have .589 lift. wide LSA for decent driveability and tuning. i do my own tuning. i'm nothing great at it.

Your compression is just right for a bigger cam...244/248 or something like that ( I am no expert), your exhaust set up looks awesome...(I should have true duals). What is it like with that converter and those gears ? It seems like 1st gear would be useless due to tire spin...you get decent traction?

Keep the updates coming.
with the converter and gears, yes 1st is useless on regular tires. with the nittos, it's better.

discussed it with mike norris. said he would leave it like that because of the 250 shot. so, i did.

I too would leave the fuel alone for the spray. Gives you a good rich shot right when the nozzle starts spraying. It'll take up any lean out time due to the nitrous spraying ahead of the fuel for a split second.
As for the cam, I can see now the reasoning. I was wondering if it was only .551 with the 1.8s. Makes sense now. I understand about wanting it to be easy to tune. Props on doing it yourself.

at the suggestion of a member of another board, he said to retard the cam to make more power as his opinion is the cam being ground 5* advanced is limiting my peak hp at 5700 rpms. well, it didn't go as planned.

blue line = straight up
red line = 5* retard

you got some great #'s..... 430/430 to the wheels on motor through a stalled auto with good street manners to boot for street duty!! And the spray for the track.

Great job, thanks for sharing the info.

very nice numbers. my only concern is the low increase you got off the nitrous. 646 - 526 = 120 rwhp on a 200 shot. on mine, i got a 225 rwhp increase off the 250 shot. granted, yours is unlocked.

either way, 650 rwhp is nothing to sneeze at. plus, you have better motor numbers than me.

Your right, we locked the converter with my old fast 90 ported and got alittle over 220rwhp locked. Mike at G-Force just doesn`t like beating the conv on the dyno so he didn`t lock it ! Should put me over 700-725rwhp now! With my race weight at 3800 with me I`m hoping for 10.0`s!!!!!! I cut 1.5`s 60ft with my H/C and 100 shot! This is as heavy and pure street car as you will get!!

I don't blame him, no way I'd lock it up on a shot like that either. Good numbers both you guys. I am looking at getting a 40X" NA car myself right now seeing you guys numbers.

The high dollar multi clutch disc converters are just fine to lock on the dyno. Dont know what kind you're running.
I've seen alot of the "off" brand converters, so of them not so cheap, not stay locked on the dyno.

I have a custom built Pro TRQ conv. Had it built with weight, power, shot size ect. Cost alot of money! I know I`m getting at least 200rwhp with the shot. Not worried! I can`t wait to see what my track times are going to be!! I hav a good set of ET drags just waiting to HOOK!!!
