The car last dyno'd 309/304 with full bolt-ons, th400 w/4000 stall on a dyno that showed 30hp less then the dynojet listed above.

So I think my sig is right. My car is down on power. It doesn't look like I need the driver mod after all.

My curve visually is a straight line from 3500-5000, whereas yours is concave over that same interval.
If you still have the LS1 intake that is stock on the '98 replacing that with a LS6 intake will pick up lots of power on the top end.
Dumping that slowmaster for another catback or getting a cutout will help as well if you like the sound of the flowmaster.
