New 402 is alive with 500+hp
Well two months ago a lifter pin came out and dystroyed my LS-1 block along with my camshaft, i need something new. Nick Williams did my cam install and tuning before on my LS-1. So after much talking Nick i decide to go with a new 402 LS-2. The short block came from SDPC i chose to go with the Callies crank and rods. Nick and his crew put the whole thing together and did all the tuning. Haven't got to have much fun with it yet, just pick it up last night and traffic was backed up on the interstate last night driving back to Greenville, though i did lay into it a few times and i couldnt be more happy. And to day rain so cant really see what it can do just yet, and it is Thanksgiving. Much thanks to Nick, Bob and the rest of his crew at Williams Performance. Thanks again.

So far i have only driven it about 200 or so miles. As for driveability for me it is fine so far its just taking some time to get use to it, being such a big jump in power from what i had. This is my DD and so far i see no problems, other than having restrain my right foot from slamming down the loud pedal.

Thanks, and yes stock rear is still in. A 9" is what i was planning to do first before this build but i didnt have much of a choice. and i dont have any money to do it now so there will not be any trips to the track any time soon. i cant remember what the CR is off hand i can give Nick a call and ask him if you would like. i dont think i will ever run any spray through it, but who knows, just not any time soon.

I will call Nick and ask him what the CR is, still the stock 3.42's out back. If i am driving around town gas mileage seems like it wont be great, i have only driven the car about 500 miles yet so i cant really tell. The majority of that has been interstate driving, i made a trip to TN to day and the gas mileage was just about the same as my last setup but that was keeping it in sixth almost the whole way. I see if i cant get someone to make a little vid or two this weekend. Thanks
