Default Not LSX but thought I'd share, MTI's 2008 Viper Coupe

So we got our 2008 Snakeskin Green Viper in yesterday and got it on the dyno.

Stock numers are:
cold pull 120 coolant temp 544rwhp 521 rwtq
2nd pull 160 coolant temp 540rwhp 518 rwtq
3rd pull 180 coolant temp 528rwhp 490 rwtq
4th pull 200 coolant temp added some Octanium thinking we might have some 91 octane and made 537rwhp and 499 rwtq

All runs were made with 66-69 degree ambiant temp and 50-53% humidity.

Awesome looking car and strong numbers. Wow, it does lose a lot as it warms up. Is that big of a hp/tq drop typical for most cars as they warm up? I know they run stronger cold and in the cold, but I didn't realize it was that big of a difference.

I can't wait to see some of these new Vipers trapping 130+. Should happen VERY soon. 90k may be a lot for a car, but the fact that you can buy one for less than 100k and hit 130 or more in the quarter bone stock is downright scary.

Best looking combo other than blue with whitestripes in my opinion.

Very nice numbers. What are the plans for the car?

Wow. Love that color combo. Absolutely beautiful. Is that a stock color? I've never seen that before, only the generic red/blue/yellow ones.

Really good power, but sucks how you lose just over 30 rwtq once the motor is at operating temps. 200* is normal operating temp for the Viper engine isn't it ??? Get a 160* T Stat on her immediately to save those dying horses as she warms up.

All BS aside, very impressive numbers.

Question about the fuel additive, added 9 rwhp and 9 rwtq ??? Can you explain how.

It's good to see what these things are putting down now. I'm sure the rich people in my area will be getting these soon. I love that color and thanks for mentioning the name of it for those of us who are color blind.

Strong numbers. Can't wait to see some of these run in person.
Is there any torque management type nonsense on these like there is on the Z06?

Watching the timing and knock sensors it showed to be pulling timing due to knock. (the newer the cars the more sensative they are making the sensors) So we threw in a can of Octanium in order to prevent that. It is currently the best additive out right now, independant test have shown it to be significatly stronger than even Torco.
