Default My numbers....Thoughts???

Dyno'd my car back in December and just now noticed LS1Tech has a section just for dyno results and comparisons.........

Mods are in my sig.......Dynojet Model 424xLC2

Vid link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cRS2LNrbHY

It was a cold day around 40 degrees so my uncorrected numbers were 357whp/375wtq

SAE put them at 334whp/350wtq

Thoughts? Opinions? I've had a few people say it would seem that I have a strong LS1 aka Factory Freak......

Also, I installed the MTi lid not even 5 minutes before climbing on the dyno........

I had a couple people tell me that it is possible the ecu wouldn't compensate for adding it for at least 50 miles..........and that perhaps I would put down a little more power now than I did on that day.

Fact or Fiction?

Thanks guys.

So does anyone know the answer to my question on the lid install?

If I installed it when the car was getting on the dyno does it take 50 miles for the ecu to reset or something like that?

If I can get a really cheap dyno rate, is it worth dynoing again?

No it's not worth dynoing again. Don't stress the small stuff. It's possible you will pick up 5rwh or so. When dynoing its not a bad idea to reset the ecu before each dyno. That way if you make changes it starts from the same point.

Cool, thanks for the info....

I plan to do the free Ram Air mod and the "free" coupler mod in the next few weeks........Then I plan to get it dyno tuned.
