Yep, good point. Erik will look at it and reconfigure accordingly. I do have to make a decision on valves an rpm though. If It stick around 6800-7000 I can use a much less expensive stainless intake as opposed to titanium. Need to weigh things out and add the intake to the equation as well.

Man that engine should be a total monster. I would definitely get with Erik and the person doing your heads before selecting a camshaft. 600rwhp is a realistic goal IMO.

I can also vouch for Erik (HKE Enterprises). He builds them right the first time and yes Greg and Erik are very busy these days. They have more than proven themselves. We really are very fortunate to have some of the best engine builders right here on this site that are more than willing to take care of our needs. We should be thankful.

We currently have our new stroker being built by Erik and the heads are being done by Greg also, but we have no clue when it'll all come together.

Please keep us updated on your results. We look forward to sharing your excitment.

I would go with TI valves if I were you.

A 2.20 SS valve at 7K rpms is a pretty violent combination if you know what I mean. What does Erik recommend??

Erik's been wicked busy so we havent had time to really look at it. The heads are going to be a while before they are done so its not a pressing isssue right now. Well have a serious discusion abvout it when it gets closer to being done. The tit's add 800 in cost over the SS valves, which at this point is peanuts really with the coin I'm dropping on heads. THe SB is very reasonably priced but when you go nuts on heads it adds up.

I agree with TXCAMSS, I/we was/were very fortunate to have Erik on board. If he and Greg can clone themsleves we can cut down on the time. Although they dont cast heads... yet..lol
