Its tuff to say highest dyno number...as stated before A4 to M6 will be different as there is less of drivetrain lose through a M6. Also need to ask what dyno its on as well as most Dyno jets will show a 6-10% more than a Mustang Dyno. On top of that dynos are a tuning tool which is why there isnt one dyno that give you a "true number". There is so much to be takin into account such as tire pressure when on a dyno. More so when running Drag radials over street tires. A race can be done on a 1/4 mile but not on a dyno. But dyno racing is still fun!!! hehe

After seing these numbers from a cam only dyno pull
My tuner guy must be off on my tune
callies compstar 4.0 stroke
Diamond flat 3.905 bore @ 10.999 compresion ratio
235/243 .625 .625 custome baker grind cam
241 heads
kooks headers
pacesetter Y pipe
magnaflow y pipe back
FIC 36lb
Racetronix fuel pump
LS6 intake
BBk 80 Tb
Slp lid
6speed
strange 60 with 456 gears
act 950
fidanza flywheel
SD tune
only 405 rwhp but with stoker it's also 405 rwtq
That was the best pull
my last one was at 390 rwhp
For a stroked LS it seems really low
Anyone know of a good tuner in Michigan???

LOL, go to the track and see what it runs. People trust so much in dyno numbers, race it and see what your et and trap speeds are.

Your heads and intake are bad. Especially for a 4" stroke.

Longer stroke increases piston speed which increase air speed, which will choke out an already sub par head even faster.

That S60 with 4.56 gears are eating up a lot of fun magic too, but I wouldn't sweat that. Your car isn't built to dyno, it's built to move without breaking 😃

im interested in camming my ls1. this thread shows M6 cars putting down ~450 with cam only and bolt ons. in the first reply, it mentions going to the sticky thread. in that thread all the cam only cars are around 390 to the wheels(still m6). why is there such a difference? is the 450 cars using a massive cam or something?

Yes most the cars that made numbers like that were mid 240s intake duration 248-250s exhaust duration. My car made 436 on my mustang dyno with much smaller cam, but it trapped more in line with few of those cars for its weight, smaller stuff can get real close to the performance, you get diminishing returns the bigger you go

much more supporting mods minimizing parasitic losses, different fuels and high rpm

tbh I think these days 470 rwhp cam only could be beat

4.56 is a lot of gear. A set of ported 243 or 823 heads would make more peak power.

Will not be cheap, but if you want 500 RWHP in a LS1..... AND still have decent manners on the street,
He is the best way to go IMO. Check out DarthV8rs build thread for all the details and what it takes.
Its the short course PHD LOL.
Good Luck
