Default What can I expect with the addition of 1.8 roller rockers

Like the title says, I will be going to StraightLine on Monday to get my Harland Sharp 1.8 Roller rockers non adjustable installed.

I have a GMPP HotCam with .525 lift, with the new Roller's my lift will be .556.
It will also be getting a re-tune.
What kind of gains does anyone think I will be looking at with the mods in my SIG!
Thanks

Did you have it tuned after the cam? I would think with a low lift cam like yours that the 1.8's should help more. Are you going to dyno also?

Yes but if thats what you are after why not just get a better cam? Especially the expense of those uneeded 1.8 rockers.

Rockers usually only give 10bhp max from what I read.

I agree but hes already got the cam now, unless he wants to do another swap. The rocker arms will be easy.

Yes the cam was tuned after the install of the cam and then retuned after the FAST intake and 85mm mafs.

Tomorrow im getting a re-retune for the 1.8's

any guesstimates as to the HP and TQ numbers?

Will be interested in your results on that cam. This question gets asked frequently and hopefully you will provide some data. Good luck with the dyno.

Damn, dude, you're making 406/378 with a Hotcam??? That 90/90 and MAF must REALLY be helping you out, unless I missed something else. You didn't by chance get the car dynoed before and after the MAF did you?

we saw a gain on both torque and HP, then mike at straightline added some timing and I maxxed out my injectors, so he shut it down. Now im looking for a set of 42lbs at his request. Possibly some better springs too! I think their screaming mercy as well! LOL

Wow, 393 with a hotcam is ridiculous. Enjoy that car. It's a keeper.

With the slower ramp rates on the Hot Cam and the low lift, it just seems to be a perfect candidate for 1.8 rockers.
