Default Finally! Patrick G cam results

Well i finally had my cam installed and tuned. I would like to thank Robert from advanced dyno for the tune and great customer service. I would also like to thank nvmy2000ss and sean for the cam install they did a good job.

So the car has a Patrick G custom cam the specs are 232.1/233.8 .614/.593 110.89 lsa

It also has:
LT's with dumped duals
Powerbond 25% ud pulley
Lid
Slp Maf
ls6 intake
ported tb

The results are 392.63/378.44
On one run it put down 393 and what looked to be 382tq but the torque read out on the dyno was having problems.

I was hoping for 400 but i was going to be happy with 390+. The car also put down these numbers with 117,600 miles and NGK TR6 spark plugs.
I'll try to post the graph later today.

What you guys think?

*Edit* Here is the graph. It shows the very first pull and the last pull.

Not bad at all and should be a very good driver. That's lots of miles on the long block. Did you guys do a leak down before installing the new parts?

No i didn't. If something happens then i'll just go bigger ad better

I'm pretty happy with the results considering how many miles i have. I will re dyno it after the new clutch and see what it puts down. Then i'll be able to spray the 100 shot and see how it does

Don't let anyone tell you differently, a 62 rwhp gain with a medium size cam is really stout. Your torque is also very good. I didn't realize you were starting with a 330 rwhp baseline. Nice results.

Thanks cam. The 330 is with the ls1 intake and low timing. I think if i would of dynoed with more timing and my ls6 intake i would of put down around 345.

Thanks Patrick. I really like the torque. I'll post up the graph soon so you can check it out. I think it makes 350rwtq at 3500 rpms

Why not spin it higher? It seemed like it would have made alil more power.... I know it started leveling off, but seemed like there migth have been a feww more ponies in there.

Nice numbers either way. Congrats.

i agree..you would have probably got to 400 horses if you would have spun it to at least 6500..also the torque is great. Cant wait to put my pat g cam in with my heads

We did spin it to 6500 on another run and it did not pick up power. It just stayed level all the way to the limiter. I will probably get back on the dyno after i get a new clutch and break it in. Just to make sure the clutch wasn't robbing me of any power because it is injured
