Default 383 H/C/I Dyno Results!!!

We just dynoed the car I sold here https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-members/878615-fs-98-camaro-z28-m6-vert-racecar.html (has more detailed motor specs on that page) yesterday. Sorry no graph as the new owner has it.

It made:
503rwhp
459rwtq
(uncorrected)

498rwhp
457rwtq (corrected)

All of this was on HPP's Dynojet in Lewisville.

Engine is a:
383ci aluminum block
4" Stroke 3.905? bore
Diamond Flat top pistons, nitrous gapped total seal rings
G5x4 Cam
Wells Racing engines built the short block.
243's hand ported (numbers around 295-300 @ .600, with good mid numbers)
Stock, unported Fast 90/90
Pacesetter LT's going into offroad y-pipe, dumped under rear seat (still just 3.5" at y)
Stock air filter

A/F was around 12.5, so still a little rich. More power to still be found using a ported Fast, larger exhaust at the y-pipe, and leaning the tune a little more.

With a 150shot, we kept running out of fuel (they are fixing the problem today), but before they shut it off, it was up to 644rwhp each time and climbing.

The car used to have the same top end, but was just stock cubes. It now feels as strong on motor as it used to with the stock cubed setup on the bottle!!! The mid range torque gained alot!

Very nice. It would be cool to see a layover graph of the two setups, one with the 346 and one with the 383 without changing much else.

That would be cool, but I never had it dynoed with the top end on the 346. I'm sure we can get the graph of the 383 up soon though!

I bet you left there a little rich after the fuel system upgrade... With some tweaking the on the bottle numbers should go 660rwhp+, I would guess....
That's not to mention the power to be gained the in intake, exhaust and tune.

Yeah, this thing pulls through the mid range like nothing I've ever ridden in. (Never ridden in a 408ci or anything bigger, but compared to stock cubes, it's not even comparable!)

Car also got 21mpg on the way home for the new owner!
