Im starting to think that myself.

Yeah man, redyno on a Dynojet just to make yourself happy.

My car put down 362/347 cam only A4 in 95 degree weather with a nitrous tune. If you re-dyno and are still under 400rwhp with the converter locked, you have problems.

3 weeks is exactly that. 21 days. Days of which I go to college 3 hours from here. So yes, for me, its exactly that. I think the issue here is, that im not happy with the Dyno.

But the good news is, there is a dyno here in my hometown. DynoJet.

I would say get a bigger intake to go with the head job and lock the converter and you should see more.

How funny would it be to get a ported 92/92, lock my converter and still get less that 400rwhp? On this dyno, im pretty sure I would do just that, then kill myself.

Saturday my buddy had his 2000 Z28 dynoed. MS3, PP 96mm Intake, NW90, Pacesetters, ORY, and a 3500 stalled A4 and he put dwon 347rwhp. I thought he was going to cry over the phone. He is taking it back to verify. Id shoot myself or atleast cut myself with a rusty butterknife and cry.

wow, that sounds like a slipping converter/tranny or a stingy dyno like the one I was on.

my stock sealed LS1 put down 348rwhp SAE corrected and ran almost 91mph 8.3 in the 1/8th with K&N FIPK, longtubes and magnaflow catback....... not tuned yet by the way..... but what 1/4 mile estimate would that be around?

dude i aint no kid, i dont need to lie..... i have fast cars all around me and this is my slowest car actually..... i was just letting you know what these things can do basicly stock if you do the right mods to them and dont by stuff that had bad reviews, i have heard nothing but bad things about patriot heads and they might not be that bad on a few guys cars but i have seen a few guys be very angry at the way the car ran with patriot "aftermarket" heads.......... my buddy has the patriot LS1 heads and they killed his car too...get ris of them and put your factory heads back on and gain alot of power...... but if you really dont belive me i can make a vid my next time at the track.... but keep in mind i did say almost, if you read my sig it says my time there and it was actually 90.8mph

Im just saying a minimum bolt on m6 running 91mph is movin pretty good. You should be around 7.6's, so I bet your sliping a lot, which would get a higher MPH.

na im on street tires and im not power shifting so im letting out the gas when i shift and its getting good traction the whole way through at a 2.0 60 foot and thats decent hooking on street tires actually, and the time could be a tad better if i did powershift the car and possibly the mph...... i dont plan on ever putting sticky tires on this car..... i have this car for daily driving and street tire shoot outs me and my local freinds have at the track ..... so to answer your question the reason why i have a high mph is just cause the car is hauling butt, plain and simple!

but like the other guy said dont worry about the number if its running properly at the track and everything is working right.... i have buddys thats run 7.1s with 360rwhp in stock LT1 engines with a cam so you can still do well even if the car aint putting the greatest numbers down

i just did say so...... dude do you think that these cars cant run what i have posted? i cant speak for you cause i dont know you, you might be the best driver in the world..... but if you think that a stock sealed LS1 mild bolt onmotor cant run 90mph and an 8.3 on street tires then i dont know what to tell you other than maybe you need to do a few searches..... or hell i will just take a video and also show the cars tires and dyno graph...... i dont know how to prove its only got headers and a catback and nothing else but i have no reason to lie.... im just trying to have a normal conversation about cars before i hit the sack..... keep in mind most high school kids lie about things like cars and stuff..... im a family man married with 2 kids, trust me i could care less to lie to people i will never even see about my cars...... everything i state or have stated is true and thats all i can say

hehe ok, it just seemed like for a minute you thought i was lying and i guess thats understandable cause alot of people lie about stuff like this..... but from here on out you can belive me.... i ran some pretty decent times with a 550rwhp car and small blower 6.5 at 108.8 on drag radials and sold my S trim blower and am installing the new YSI so i am shooting for some 5.8s 5.99s when i get it dialed in and tuned again..... i will be adding like 200rwhp and taking out an additional 100lbs from when i ran it last and it will actually be on ET drags instead of drag radials....stay tuned, i will post a video
