408 w/ Dart 225 #'s ... A4
As of last night, with just break-in time on the motor the numbers were;
482rwhp and 434rwtq
The car: 2002 WS6, full street trim
The set-up;
Built A4
Yank, SS3600
iron block, 408
Dart 225's (Bret Bauer enhanced)
Stock rockers
Custom Cam 23X/24X (Bret Bauer spec)
Ported FAST 90/90
85mm MAF
UD Pulley
AR 1 7/8" emission headers and catted Y (all emissions still hooked up)
LM1 (need to add some extra mufflers )
S60, w/ 3:73's
315 M/T's on 17x11 TTII's
Since there are a lot who know more than I do, I put my $$ in the most capable hands that I know of. I gave my engine builder, ***** Wiggins (Wiggins Racing), a simple outline, "<10.99 full weight car and 16mpg (or better)". He got with Bret and together mapped out this set-up. I can't verify the mpg yet but the dyno numbers suggest the ET's will be there. *****'s dyno numbers are usually a little lower than the rest in our area (I've seen as much as 20hp difference) so, I have the most confidence I'll get the ET's to match the numbers.
A graph is on the way!

No, I don't know the actual raceweight. The only thing removed from the car is the front sway bar (10lbs??) .. everything else I've put on it weighed more than what I took off so .. she's a pig!
Yes Vos .. I'll be there! Enjoy the high HP stock 10 bolt while you can! That 9" and 4:10's are gonna sap the life out of your numbers

And, My 402 will be well built for next year, with a lot-o-something extra. ie 88mm and or 150-250 shot. Can't wait to drag your 408 down KDS, NAM, CPD, or on the Street. lol
Here comes the **** talkin'! lol

I had busted a couple pistons on my 346 so they needed a little cleaning up. I had 3 bent valves to boot. To deck the heads, valve and port work, set the springs (set up to match the cam specs) etc .. very reasonable! PM me and I'll get you the finer details!

I'll put down 430-440 on a calibrated dyno after with my 9" and 4.10s.

Junior you 408 should handle a decent shot of Nitrous as well. The rings are already gapped for it.

I've had these M/T's for about a year. I've only got about 200 miles on them so far .. but that's fixing to change I have been following the backorder thing ... I heard they had lost DOT certification though???
Waterbug .. Bret's Dart 205 CNC program will far outflow what was done to these 225's. I would PM him for a quote .. his 205 work is amazing!
