no worries, at least I make the OPs numbers suck a little. There is always someone bigger and faster. I am about to sell off my setup and go with Twins, i am never satisfied. I always want more power

What's your current setup that you're going to be selling and how much?

I am keeping some of the parts for the build but I will be selling:

Kooks 1 7/8 LT
Kooks Catless Mids
MegaDeath Cam
Patriot LS6 Stage II 59 CC with .650 lift springs
42lb injectors

That is all as of now and I still have to see what my tax situation is before I pull the trigger. These are being sold as I need to lower my compression for the twin turbos. This was a badass NA setup I just addicted to the power on the juice and got tired of filling it up all the time. I want the power all the time!

Default prices

I dont mind listing prices since most of anyone can get the stuff for the same prices.
Patriot StageII heads 2.02/1.57 59cc heads $1295
Patriot Cam 225/229 .580/.509 on a 114 $200
FAST 90 intake $730 shipped from ebay new in box from Speed inc
LS2 TB DBW(drive by wire) $325
Yella Terra's $385
Comp Push rods <$95
LS2 timing chain around $35
ported oil pump $115.00
LG Street headers no CATS $1000
GHL bullet exhaust $950
Speed Inc fuel rails $248.00
I also have a Callaway Honker CAI $500
Tuning $400
head bolts & gaskets approx $325.00

that should just about cover it.

When I dropped of my car for tuning I gave a copy of my cam specs & flow sheet from my heads. He said they probably wont flow the 296cfm. Said more like 275.
If it makes you feel any better my tuner uses heads from a vendor on here from the southern US and said their heads do not flow what is quoted either. He will hand finish them off . When it all said and done we only paid 1/2 the price of a set of AFR's or Trick Flow's.

I have a sound clip from before tuning but I'll get one of it after tuning and try to get it on you tube or something.

With 59cc chambers and GM MLS gaskets you are around 11.4:1 and DCR with that cam is around 8.8:1 (that is what my calculator shows)...Your set up is pushing the pump gas limits.

Did you swap your thermostat to a 160 or 180? Hope your tune is spot on and timing is good.

great numbers. im running the same heads as the OP but with a little 224 .581 112lsa single pattern cam. i wish i had the rwtq he has, but we are on par being close to the same rwhp (his 449 to my 443)...now his rwtq is greater than mine (425 to my 402)...

great to see others out there getting strong numbers from Patriot heads!!!

makes me wonder what i could get by going to a slightly larger cam...

1.7s, gains are 3-5rwhp/rwtq from 5400+rpm. No gains below 5k. Not much but more for better valvetrain stability.
