Just wanted to know what causes the extended dip of approx. 12 rwtq from 3500-4500 rpms ??
Heads, pully, ewp and VOILA, you got another 500 rwhp 346. I am impressed bro.

I haven't run this cam in a GTO yet. We don't get that many of those here. Lift is .61x both sides.
alngn_c5: I don't know what causes that dip. We see it only on C5's. The f-bodies don't do this. I believe it is an exhaust tuning thing but we haven't had this car back to try removing the exhaust. Earlier experients with f-body H pipe systems showed the same type of dips.

would having a TRUE 3 inch system on a corvette help ??
When I go to LGM in Aug we are going to see how much improvement there Big3 does for my upcoming 402. I currently have bullets that connect to the reduced from 3 to 2 1/2 X pipe. The big 3 comes with an adapter to remove the 2 1/2 inch section allowing less restriction of flow. Do you think something like that by improving flow would eliminate that dip ?? Just wondering.

maybe its because of the reduced timing from 4000-4800....its in the stock timing tables and a few of the modified ones ive looked at...not sure why the reduction in timing then bring on the timing again at 5200
