Big stalled auto on motor = 505/421 :-)

Default Big stalled auto on motor = 505/421 :-)

OK went to the dyno today with 408 to see what she would do on the bottle but, as soon as we hit it it pushed right through the converter and only made 560 with the 300 jets in.

BUT

ON the motor with the changes that were made it put down 505/421
on the same mustang dyno. It made peak power at 6557 and that is were we lifted, it was still climbing and if I had more time on the dyno I would have spun it higher to see what it was going to do.

Needless to say I am very happy with the results. I knew that it had alot more in it I just didnt want to open my mouth until I could prove it.

The only changes for the n/a tune were cut-outs installed, a little more efficient converter, Race gas, 30* of timing, 13:1 a/f.

Good job! that is way better than I thought it would do with that trans. I knew in your original post it had more in it but so few autos make 500+ that I did not think it would do it. I thought it would make more than what I guessed in your other thread but I did not want to over estimate...I would rather make more than what people guess than less and be disappointed, so you must be thrilled.

Thanks guys! I am really thrilled and cant wait to get the intake and another converter so we can see what she will really do on the bottle.

Those are great numbers congrats!

Did you get rid of the junk intake? Those arent any better than ls1 intakes from my experience... we did a comparison on the dyno and with the bbk we lost power compared to a ls6 intake.

Wow! How did you get from 431/369 to 505/421?? What kind of changes did you make to net 70rwhp and 50rwtq?

Outstanding A3 #'s on a Mustang Dyno!!!!! That build surpasses Beards build.

I changed converters, open header, good gas, and alot more timing, and leaned it out some.

I' m still trying to get the dyno graph up, but I keep forgeting it at the shop.
