Hard to convince someone not to run a Donkey Dick cam when they see results like this. Nice apples to apples results. Gotta love how that unique exhaust lobe carries power up high.

Nice curve. What were the mods for the 380rwhp pull? I like the results I've seen with the VRX3.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the Vindicator is the one with the higher hp number and not the VRX3.

I think the point Ron was trying to make is how much power and torque the customer picked up by going from vrx3 to the vindicator.

Now if that is incorrect, then he must be trying to show that stepping down from the Vindicator to the vrx3 is not a HUGE loss of power across the board, but you will lose horsepower and torque but still have a bad *** cam only setup.

VRX3 + boltons 380+ rwhp
Vindicator + boltons 410+ rwhp

Seems to me either way you look at it, pretty damn good results.

Hey Ron since you have compared the Vindicator to the VRX3 do you happen to have a graph that shows all levels of the vrx cam series and the vindicator in the same car on the same sheet ? Now I think that would be one hell of a graph to look at. Hook us up if you can.

Duh, thanks for pointing that out, I missed it, and it's in the title.

Have you got any numbers with that Vindicator in a 402, looking real hard at that one!

I think he's showing the Vindicators power in comparison to the smaller camshaft. Showing how the customer didnt loose that much down low, but picked up nicely up top.
Right?

You can see there's basically zero difference in the regular driving RPM range, but the extra power is available when it's race time.

How are the idle and cruising characteristics different now?

i am liking the vindicator more and more as i see these results show up. which version of the cam is this one? i believe there are 2 versions out. bear in mind this is a 9" car with 410 gears..

vindicator curve from 6,000-6,700 is a thing of beauty.

Great comparison! That VX3 makes real good power for a "smaller" cam.
