Default Help! Extremely Low Dyno Numbers!

I went to a local reputable shop and got a dyno tune last week. My mods are:

Forged 348 CU ls1
28lb Injectors
ls6 intake
SD Tune
Ms3
TEA 5.3 Stage 1.5
0.40 Cometics
Mahle Flat Top Pistons
Scat H Beams
Ported TB
Hooker Long Tubes
ORY
ASP Pulley
All Bolt ons
6 Speed with Ls7 Clutch
Ford 9" 4.56 Gears

It is a Dyno Dynamics Dyno and the car made 335.6 to the tires. It is a mustang dyno I know, but it should make way more. The car is very quick. It has pulled many 400+ cars on the street. Any reasoning??? Im very confused.

I dont have a way to post the graph. It has a nice curve. The AFR was about 14.2 til 3K and 12.8 from 3k to WOT. The car had 0.8 KR at its worst. A bone stock 6.0 gto put down high 320's on the same dyno. Im very confused.

There are so many variables, but I would try to find a Dynojet and see what it makes. Mustang dynos can be skewed by a simple error in the vehicle's weight, among other things.

I would think it should put down like 425ish would be my guess. My car mad 401 with a ls6 through unported 243 casting heads. We have a very close setups, yours being a stick is going to help too with you having more hp than an auto.

Thanks for the help guys. Could not dialing in tire size and vehicle weight make a difference?

BTW the only thing the dyno operator done was put that we were pulling in 4th gear and didnt put down tire size, vehicle weight, gear ratio, etc.

That's why people like Dynojets. The only thing the Dynojet operator can change is the feet of elevation, assuming his temp/humidity/barometic sensors are working correctly. Mustang Dynos have way too many variables that can easily be changed by the operator, such as the things you listed above. It may not have anything to do with your power problem, but it's a start.

There is no way the car only makes 340rwhp. That would be almost a 100hp off. Heck it doesnt make much less than that stock...

Whats your mods? The only thing is I have beaten cars that put down 400-450 on the same dyno...Think the dyno may be messed up?

Don't worry about it. It's just a #. Mine only put down 313 on motor with a very similar setup, and my times are in my sig. Just use it as a tuning tool to log, and identify problems in the tune. The car must be running right if you're pulling on cars that put down those kind of #'s. Don't buy into the ego trip of dyno racing.
