dang it, well with your experience in tuning cars what is the normal amount of gain from locking the converter?

Depends on the stall speed, and overall efficiency of the converter.

Wow, sick numbers through an auto. I can't wait to save up for some TrickFlows. I really don't see a reason to buy another head if you can afford them based on all the results I've seen posted recently (key words being "if you can afford them" ).

as far as the converter... we have seen 10 rwhp-40 rwhp with quality converters in the past locked v's unlocked. I know you are not trying to knock this by any means, but it's hard to put a # on it.

take care

thanks again for the compliments on the combo

The customer is scheduled to get the SS4000 installed since the 3600 is pretty tight.

I wish mine did that. It broke a hard part while cruising in traffic...In a low 13 second car.

Those are some killer numbers. Seems TFS heads + SI6 = the ****.

Those are som great numbers for a auto. I just put down 473rwhp and 407rwtq with a set of factory worked over 241 heads. Thats was also with a 12bolt rear and 4.30 gears and a Denny's nitrous ready steel driveshaft.

Nice package, great #s!

BTW, my stock 60 is alive & well w/ 77k on it. Its had a few different converters, currently a Vig 3600, H/C & it has had nitrous ran on it, low 1.5 60' times. I don't beat my car all the time & I think that has a lot to do with it.
