Default Low numbers with high $$ parts

This is through an unlocked PT4000 verter. Do these low numbers seem about right? I was hoping for around 450 even with the auto. It might have been with the converter locked...? Also, doesn't it seem he should have kept revving the engine? I actually see it go up just a touch right at the end. I would take it till it starts to nose over, yes? I've got a bunch of money in this thing, but the dyno doesn't show it. Hopefully my track times show that. I'm up for any thoughts.

you would prolly be right at 450 with the converter locked maybe a tad more or a tad less. I would guess tad more with that loose *** converter.

id say good numbers

I wouldnt get caught up in dyno numbers. Maybe lock the converter if you want to see high numbers. I know the feeling tho doing all that work and spending $$$ and not get what you want to see.

Thats a huge verter. I did 430 locked on a mustang with my old h/c/I setup. At 3800lbs it went 11.6. I wouldnt worry about those numbers.

I believe that is good. I did 461 with the 205's 90/90 236/236 .651 lift, and every other high dollar bolt on. With M6

I've seen people post that they lost roughly 20-25 rwhp with the PT4000 converter unlocked. Taking that into consideration I would say those are decent numbers through the A4.

Those seem like decent #'s for what's there. HP definitely doesn't tell ET's. My old 98Z put down 360rwhp/359rwtq thru a A4 w/TCI 3800 stall with some weight reduction and only lca's as my suspension on 275 MT DR's thru 3.23 10 bolt and went 11.69 on motor @ 115. Take it to the track and see what she does

that converter mightt not be good for dyno #s but it should hit the tires very hard at the track!!!

"Don't worry, be happy". Let the track tell you how it's running, and if the $$ is paying off.

OK guys, I understand that these are fair numbers for a loose verter. I wanted to go to the track this Friday but we are getting a ton of rain here in the midwest due to the hurricanes and it just never dried up. I will try to get my ET radials on and get my *** to the track this coming Friday.

On a side note, does anybody see the same thing I do with the chart making a slight curve upward right when he letoff at ~6700 rpm? It hasn't nosed over yet. He didn't ask me how well I was built and I guess I didn't tell. I have a bottom end and valvetrain good for ~7500 if need be. I bet he saw my odometer at 120,000 miles and decided if that was the stock bottom end, he didn't want to blow it I will take it back this week to tweak some other stuff and have him stand on it for a little bit longer.
