Default 406" LS2, any guesses on power?

406" LS2
4inch stroke
4.010 bore
6.125 rods
15.5:1 compression,
Solid roller, 700+lift cam, 280/290 duration and valve springs to go along with it.
Super Victor, fully ported
TFS 235 CNC heads with some hand porting 352/267 @ .750 lift
low lift numbers are really good.
heads also have been angle milled (valve angle will be somehwere around
11-11.5 degrees)
Jesel shaft rockers
HP1000 carb
4vane vacuum pump
Milodon oil pan and hv oil pump
strictly setup for naturally aspirated
electric water pump
block has been prepped, main studs, main caps and main girdle
I know the 4.010 bore is going to hurt me a little bit as we will probably only make power to 8000-8200, but one can hope it goes to 8500

Hoping to make 725 - 750 hp at the flywheel, you guys think we will be close?

My guess is 700 flywheel HP.

Sadly, i pretty much agree with you, I am just being hopeful.

I am acting like a 700hp engine is sad.. LOL

you should be able to make 700 easy. but i would de-stroke your engine to get a better rod/ stroke ratio. it will def. free up high rpm horse power and help it wind up faster. youll lose some low end torque though. it would put a lot less stress on the bottom end as well. there are other benefits also but i would shoot for a 1.6:1 or better for a N/A motor

I agree, but I am working with what I have for now. When I get more money, I will get an lsx block or sleeve the aluminum block(for weight savings) and put a 3.75 stroke and 4.125 bore engine together.

Qwiknotch: Please post up some number and a dyno sheet after you have tested the engine. I am very interested to find out how the 280/290 duration camshaft makes power.

I definitely will. Still about a month out, need to order pistons and do some work on the heads
