yeah its the car I was thinking of, every badge has "super snake" the super snake stickers, the super snake headrests, center console, guage cluster, door sills and dash plaque....
so all in all the thing says super snake on it almost 20 times, guess that makes it super cool....
Zr1 for sure....with its power to weight and much better suspension it should get the showoff snake IMO

Power to weight for the Vette is 5.2lbs per 1hp
Official weight for the Shelby is 3920lbs ( i didn't know i liked fat girls) so the power to weight ratio for the Super Snake 5.41lbs per 1hp.

The vast majority of LSx owners here aren't even in the 11's yet...but they are quick to flap their gums about how this car doesn't perform.
That's incredible performance for a 4,000lb car that behaves like a stock 300rwhp car.

Why don't you school further. Discuss how long it took to get the Bugatti up to 252mph. Then tell me that aeordynamics and weight don't play a role.

I love it when older folks tell me about their big block cars and they run 12's. Technology is a great thing.

Most of them were lucky to run that fast, in completely stock form anyway. I remember when I was in high school an 11 second street car was considered fast as hell. Now its not impressive at all. The cars today are by far, faster, safer, easier to live with and cleaner. I still love the old muscle cars but they aren't the end all of performance that some people believe. They are cool as hell but thats more because of styling and the legends that surround a few of them.

Seen this article yesterday at the parts store. The cover read something along the lines of "ZR1 Killer", so out of curiosity I opend the mag and read the article. Good to see Ford actually running some decent times with some of there special edition cars.
Not trying to start an argument, but stock C6 Z06's on run flats have ran high 10's around 128. I have HEARD of ZR1's on the run flats doing 132-134, the mustang had MT ET STREETS launching near 4,000rpms. Would have liked to see the sixty foot on that timeslip, anything over 2,000rpm launches in a ZR1 destroys the tires, lets put the same tire on the Zr1 and see how it Ets??
Ford warrenty's the 605hp version for 12,000 miles. The ZR1 warrenty's the 638hp for 100,000 miles, no brainer there.
Somone posted about how the KB GT500 could boost up?? Do you not think the ZR1 could do the same?? Ultimately I would rather take the ligher car and the more efficient 376CI motor and boost it.

And I wonder how quick it would blow up at 30 pounds? Like Unit said in the beginning, these cars really shouldn't be compared at all. Either way they are both VERY impressive, and very fast. That being said, I would rather have a Z06.

No problem.
1. 601rwhp, 122mph http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...st_system.html
2. 605rwhp, 121mph http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...ger/page3.html
I agree, but I am not one of those vast majority. And I didn't need any type of forced induction to get my 3800lb car to do what it does.
Back to my point. Unit, you think a nearly 4100lb brick with an advertised 725hp should be in the mid-upper 130s through the traps!?

Well i dont think it is fair to include trap speeds from the super snake with the MT's on there. I mean that is a huge help for it, as far as i know they dont come with those from the factory. And also to 180 it would take a lot of road, not a prepped track. So that would hurt the supersnake off the line more then the zr1, i just dont think it would be able to run down the zr1.
