When my TA had 410rwhp cam only I SLOWLY pulled away from my buddy's 03 with a CAI, 2.8" upper, x pipe, catback, dyno tune, and a solid axel. He made 470rwhp STD corrected compared to my SAE. We went from a ~45mph roll and we're both capable drivers.
Point being your car N/A should be a CLOSE race with this Cobra assuming you can both drive and the mods listed are correct. I would however just spray him just to make sure, he shouldn't have a chance with you on a 100 shot. I wouldnt run him N/A unless hes cool about losing to u on the shot first.

are you being serious? even with the 100 shot? i guess it also comes down to tires. my car at 360whp will destroy the best street tire in 3 gears but my racemaster DR's will full hook even a 2nd gear powershift. OP invest in some DR's and spray his ***

Ok..there's something no one has addressed yet...........and that's his gears. If that guy has 4.10s with bolt ons and 2.8" pulley.......one of two things; A) he has more than you know or B) he has NO clue what he's doing.
Worsed case, he has an SRA swap, ported blower, and DRs (at least in the garage ready and willing).....with that setup, he could easily be 460+RWHP and quite possibly 500rwhp/TQ (pending port and if he has a lower pulley), WITH less weight than a stock cobra, MUCH better traction, and A MEAN OUT OF THE hole shot. Better go from a roll if you can convince him.
Best case, He has stock IRS rear (with a brace TOPS) and the few things you mentioned. If that is true, he has no clue what he's doing IMO. No cobra owner will put 4.10s with a stock IRS with that low end punch out of the hole and chance breaking. UNLESS, he has some nice tires and can launch without hopping to save the axles.
IMO, if beating him is THAT important so you don't hear any BS non-stop, I'd find out ALL YOU can about his car to make sure he isn't 'option A'.

If this Cobra owner was really that knowledgeable and prepared, I still maintain that he would be calling you out and talking **** to your face instead of behind your back. Either that or he would be silent and just waiting to strike; that's my typical game plan and most people don't know what happened to them until it's too late.

But, there are those people that are simply back stabbers and **** talkers no matter what.

+1. You should have it with the juice. IF he also had a ported blower he could be 500+ rwhp and itll be alot closer. but anything less than that, assuming you can drive, id bet on you. Terminators are hard to launch especially if he doesnt have sticky tires already even with the pulley only.

thanks for all the advice guys one thing i havent mentioned is i have seen the guy drive his car before and hell he can barely just take of "casual driving" without killing the damn thing so everybody who is saying "if" he is a good driver.....well the answer is hes not lol
