Yes, there are different levels of preludes, and the prelude VTEC (H22a engine)is like 190hp, but I think those might all be 5spd, so chances are it's just the Si version, and I think those are like 130hhp. More than likely a 17-18 second car with the auto just flooring it. Yes, I think it would run down that caddy up top, but it'd be a good run.

Ran my friend tonight. We ran from a dig to 100mph. Waxed his *** off the line

Got a real good launch on him, just barely chirped the tires. I immediatly got a 1 car lead on him. Looked like he fell asleep at the wheel, but I've driven a 4 banger/auto honda, those things are total dogs off the line. He started to slowly reel me in at 40mph, but he wasn't fast enough. I still had him by a fender when I let up at 100mph.

It was so good to rub it in his face, he always made fun of my "grandpa" car.

Chalk up a Kill for the Caddy. Its always fun to put those guys in their place. I have a buddy that claims with 30 grand he could modify his 4banger to beat any V8 around. They just never seem to take into consideration 30 grand in any V8 would totally destroy them.

He most likely had the base model Prelude, which is ~125hp if memory serves me. There is a chance he had an Si, but those are 160hp and I think that would have beaten you. Way to put him in his place though, for thinking his car was the ****.
