Default Built 383 numbers...

A buddy of mine said his 383 has,
- H beam rods
- 12 to 1 compression pistons from JE
- sheet metal intake with 750 carb
- LTs, with dynomax mufflers dumped
- 6 AL box
- Ported&polished World product heads
- 645 lift cam/ 235 duration/ 117 center line
- Turbo 350 trans w/ 3800 FTI converter is in the car right now. But he may switch to a 4500 converter

What do you guys think this setup will put down on a dynojet? We have a bet going on he thinks he'll put down 500 rwhp. I say 425-440 rwhp. What do you guys think??

well i was researching a 408 setup, similar to his build. and i was told by a few builders that na it would put around 515 to the wheels. so with 32 less ci, and making somewhere in the range of 1.25 hp per ci. id say it will make 475whp but that's just my guess
