Changing to the LQ9
Alrighty....
I got a pretty good answer for the last thread I made, but I am changing to a new engine.
My car will be getting a 50k mile LQ9 motor.
It's going to have the stock 317 heads (still 10.1:1 compression however)
Bolt ons that are transferring over:
LS6 intake manifold
1 3/4 stainless headers
TSP 3 inch dumped duals
It's being mated to my 3600 stalled 4L60E (mildly built)
The car made 330 hp 340 tq in 95+degree weather in AZ.
The LQ9 is going to then be updated with a 228r cam. What kind of numbers should I be looking to put down (a bit more cubes helps out potential gains right?). I know it's going to be a potent setup with lots of room for potential, but it won't be another couple of years before I can really get into it.
