Default 335i vs me

ok so im mostly full bolt ons and after making it a point that my car is faster than his stock lease, he claims hell beat me

at first he agreed, then he started telling me how his is twin turbo and what not, looked up the numbers and it seems to run 13.4-13.6

at first he didnt care that mine was faster- now he thinks im just jealous and hell beat me so he put $20 on it

i cant possibly see myself losing but figured id post this on here anyway

If he really is bone stock then your bolt-on car should have no problem. Be careful though because a simple re-flash tune on those things can seriously wake them up and you will have your hands full.

You should be ok, just be on your game and don't pay attention to his car, pay attention to yours.

+1

it depends on the map though, if it's just stage 1 vishnu then you'll be fine OP, if it's the stage 2 then be cautious, if it's stage 3 then most likely you'll have your *** handed to you.

since a re-flash map can give them gain from 30-80 whp

if you're making anywhere around 450 rwhp then you should be fine

The 335i's only need a few bolt-ons , some race gas, and a good tune and I believe they can break into the 11's if not low 12's. Just warning of the tune cause those can be installed easily and you'd still think the car is stock from the way it looks and sounds.

If it's stock, you're golden, but be on your game, just in case he did some mods, lol. They can do some dealership installed mods that don't hurt the warranty and still make it pretty quick. Like this car:

^^ the only thing that makes the 335 can hold up on each pull before the camaro pull back up top is the flat torque curve, i'm talking about flat as kansas

i was at the track 2 months ago and i ran this 335xi (not sure if this is the faster one? ) anyways i pulled him a lil more than 1 car with a shitty launch and i bog'd off the line real bad, so i dont think u should worry about anything

The 335xi is AWD. So depending how he launched it the extra drivetrain loss and weight could have held him back.
