Default LQ4 Horsepower estimate.

I am building an LQ4 with the following,
2005 Motor
Stock long block
Stock heads
Stock compression 9.4
Stock truck intake manifold
1 3/4 long tubes Open headers
Electric fans
Air intake
TSP Torquer V3 cam
Custom Tune with HP Tuners

This is what is going in my 1977 chevy 1/2 ton.
Let me know what you think it will make for power

I am hoping for 465 horse @ 6500rpm and 445 Torque @ 5000rpm.

At the flywheel maybe. Compression is too low to make use of the cam, might wanna pull the heads and mill them down to raise comp. at least a point. I honestly dont see it breaking 400whp.

I'd say 380-390 at most.

^^^ +1 takes more than just bigger cubes to get power. Thats a completely stock motor, aside from very mild bolt ons and a cam. I doubt you'll see 400.

Sorry guys I was talking fwhp. I would like to see 380+ at the wheels. You think that will be doable.
