Please don't tell me you went all the way to the other side of T town to race there? That just isn't worth the drive unless there is a meet or something....

Originally, I was a student destined for U of A, and not ASU.

Decided against it, but I was down in Tucson for the weekend.

Ahh, almost a wildcat. Thats cool. I honestly should have looked at UA more, and looked at their classes. I know more people in Tucson, and actually know my way around there lol.

Here is some glory shots.

My engine was a bit dirty... had a leaking gasket that decided to spray oil everywhere (which is what started this whole process... leaky gasket = new LQ9 in my mind).

My heads will be coming along in due time... I still need to iron out my power goals though.

I really really really want to do a NA setup for the simplicity of it, but it would be a shame to let the iron block off easy.

Boost for DD. As much as I love my cam, I miss the drive ability and gas mileage. Boost...feels like stock till you build rpms and load, then it just screams.

Yeah, I think that's what I'm leaning towards more and more....

I think I'm going to do it all in one big bang sort of thing, so I don't have to torture myself by driving around a low compression 408.

I'm thinking of hovering around 9-9.5:1 compression, D1SC to feed my ****. I haven't looked into turbos too much, other than I want to avoid a rear-mount.

I will try to contain myself till then, sure bet you are excited though. Are you gonna be there when it first fires up or after they get the coolant bled out and all that boring time consuming stuff.

I don't think I can be there for when it first fires up, but it will be captured on youtube (I think). It doesn't even come close, but at least it's something.

Also AZN - I do plan on keeping AC yeah, I know there are both supercharger and front mount turbo kits that let you keep it(100% sure on supercharger, 75% sure on Front mount setup). Might have to attack my bumper with some power tools, but I know it has been done

Eh...go blower then. You CAN fit a front mount turbo...but I was gonna tell you go big or go home lol. Most front mount turbo DIY or something requires no ac/heater unit.

Not sure of plans, nic d said a front mount, even with these stock cubes or a forged 370 would be pretty fun 550-600 to the wheels would be a fun daily! I will probably see you around man, we should definitely do something sometime though
