Default 2004 CBR600, do I have a chance?

A friend of a friend just got his first bike a few months ago and apparently has been talking quite a bit of trash about what he's run on the streets. My friend brought up my car and said it would put a good fight, so now I'm caught in the middle.

I hate these kind of threads but I know NOTHING about bikes, and most people I know prefer the Harleys. I was told it's a 2004 Honda CBR600 "with a pipe". It's the guys first bike, and that he's a BIG guy, pushing 280lbs at least.

I've trapped 124mph in good weather. It's just a H/C 346 with a good converter and MT drag radials and it all works well on the street.

This guy wants to put a couple hundred on the race, and I told him I would only run from a stop - no roll racing BS. He wants to run tomorrow night.

So I hear the newer 600cc bikes are quite fast. Am I in trouble?

Find out if its a 600rr or f4i. If its a 600rr you may have a hard time. I used to have a 600rr and it was pretty damn fast. The only car I ever raced with it was a new gto and I smoooooked it. Good luck
