all i have to say is give an ls1 a blower and see how even the race is.

also the REAL race comes when you have to tear down the motor. i'll leave the miles of timing chain, gaskets, chain guides, tensioners etc to the ford nut swingers. they can knock them selves out. OR have fun picking up the bill on labor

I've raced plenty of blown and turbo LS1's. There are a lot of them that only run high 10's or 11's, which is nothing special. The whole "give a
LS1 a blower" argument is stupid. Power is power, regardless of how
it's made.

You're wrong on a few points. 500rwhp with a stock un-ported Eaton isn't going to happen. The average for a pulley, exhaust, and a tune (you forgot a CAI) Cobra is 460rwhp. No one is making 500rwhp without a ported blower. It's just not going to happen.

It's due to the depreciation of the LS1 fbodies. They are cheap now and young kids can afford them. We're seeing more and more 18-20 year olds
here now, which is fine, but it brings the ignorance of a 18-20 year old too.

Going from what I have seen, My car doesn't make 500rwhp, I have seen more then a handful. Will I say every single one does that no, but I have seen it. My mark VIII with an 03 cobra swap makes 489hp and 487tq, My car has stock ported manifolds(only thing I can so, headers don't clear my subframe, billet flow specialties throttle body, custom x pipe and exhaust, JLT cold air and a 2.76 pulley with LFP heat exchange and a tune.

Sorry I just looked at my dyno sheet my car dynoed at 481hp and 487tq.

I can make a dyno say that may car makes 1,000rwhp. That doesn't mean that it does.

No, you're still ignorant at 21. You don't think you are, but trust me...you are. I remember what it's like being 21. I was ignorant too...I just didn't know it.

It's sad, but true...at least we didn't know about our ignorance when we were young and invincible.
